Costume Hire FAQ

We’ve been adding to our Costume Collection for over 40 years. With over 15,000 costumes available to hire, we’re proud to offer something for every occasion. Visit us in-store for expert service and advice in finding the perfect look.


How much does it cost to hire a costume?

Full costume hire starts at $65 for 1–3 days, depending on what you need.

  • Every costume is individually priced.

  • All hires include professional dry cleaning.

  • Extended hire periods are available on request.


Do I need to pre-book my costume?

Not necessarily - costumes can be hired on the day of your event, or booked up to 3 weeks in advance.


Do you have photos of the costumes?

We have thousands of costumes in our collection. While only a small selection is shown in our Photo Gallery, Facebook, and Instagram, the best way to see everything is to visit us in-store. Our team can help you browse and piece together the perfect look.


What if I damage or lose a costume?

Don’t worry if you spill something- just let us know and return it, as we prefer to handle cleaning ourselves.
If a costume is lost or stolen, a replacement cost will apply.


Can I cancel my hire?

Yes - please contact us as soon as possible.

  • Late cancellation fees may apply.

  • If payment has been made, a store credit will be issued (no refunds).


What if my event is postponed?

If your event is rescheduled, contact us right away. If your chosen costume is available for the new date, we’ll happily transfer your booking.


What sizes do you stock?

We offer costumes for children and adults in a wide range of sizes.


Do you sell costumes as well as hire them?

Yes! We stock a fantastic selection of costumes, wigs, accessories, novelties, and makeup for sale in-store. We also deliver Australia-wide with both standard and express shipping options.
