Meet Eleni, our Wardrobe Stylist and Makeup Guru

Eleni has always had an interest in the history and behind the scenes of Film & Television. From TV, movies and theatre to music and books, she loves all aspects, particularly the background and story that lie behind the making and production of  costumes, and the intricate designs of character and special effects makeup. 

With a huge love and passion for the industry, but not one for the spotlight, she first started working backstage in the wardrobe department, putting together costumes for high school productions. From there her journey began.

One of the highlights in her career is working with both primary and secondary schools on their musicals and productions. Seeing the students confidence grow as they begin to transform into character through costume, hair/wigs and makeup has always been the most rewarding.

Eleni is well known for her attention to detail in every costume she puts together. Her wealth of knowledge in each genre, era and character really shines throughout each and every costume fitting.

Eleni first joined the team at Costume Factory back in 2003 where her knowledge and skills to evolved to include both Wig Styling and Makeup Artistry. 

Eleni is now a qualified Make Up Artist, specialising in screen and theatrical makeup. She absolutely loves all aspects of special effects makeup and creating in depth character looks through the trifecta of costumes, wigs and makeup. 

"I get so much joy in meeting and assisting all of our customers. I love finding and putting together the right costume and wig for their event, and bringing their ideas to life. My favourite part of the job is teaching my customers how they can re-create the characters look at home with our amazing range of makeup.  Completing the costume with the right makeup can truely transform and take your costume to the next level" - Eleni
